THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH
THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH is a personal revelation on blind contour drawings and how they relate to my depression. This zine is cataloged in over 50 libraries across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia (including the Library of Congress!).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING THE PRINTABLE VERSION:
Cut off the quarter-inch margins of the papers, fold the papers in half (making sure the pages are in the right order first),
and staple them all down the spine you’ve just created.

About
Who is Dexter Froud?
Dexter Froud is a determined and hardworking filmmaker and music producer with over five years of experience making various types of visual and aural media. He’s especially proficient in writing, directing, filming, editing, and scoring public service announcements, informational videos, interviews, short-form documentaries, tutorials, and short films.
Moreover, he is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Film and Media Studies and minoring in Creative Writing. After his expected graduation of May 2025, he plans on moving to Phoenix, AZ to pursue a full-time career in music and/or film.
He was a proud member of Pitt’s Music Production Club and volunteered at the WPTS radio station. Additionally, he was a broad-ranging photographer for the high school’s yearbook and website (taking wrestling, tennis, volleyball, basketball, club, academic, and candid photos). Other high school activities included being an enthusiastic actor in theater productions and skillfully playing the synthesizer in marching band.
